About leap Healthy Meals Program
Leap HEALTHY MEALS
leap is an approved Meal Sponsor through the Child and Adult Care Food Program. We provide healthy meals and snacks to after-school programs and educational programs alike. We’ve partnered with three nationally recognized healthy food organizations based all over Southern California, Northern California and Arizona.
Good nutrition and physical activity play a huge part in a child’s mental and physical well-being. Meals we sponsor give children the nutrition they need so they are ready to learn.
Where we serve
leap Healthy Meals sponsor nutritious meals to Southern California programs year round at no cost, providing breakfast, lunch and/or supper to children ages 1-18. We support programs in underserved communities by providing children the nutrients they need; at the time they need them the most.
Our food service program follows the USDA, CACFP and SFSP meal plan guidelines, which include milk, fruit, vegetables, grain products and meats or meat alternatives (Ground turkey, eggs, cheese, etc.)
